1. Definitions
"Facility", "Paddock", "Field", "Site", "we", "our" and "us" refer to Pad-Dogs. "Customer", "you" and "your" refer to the person making the booking and all persons accompanying them. "Dog(s)" refers to any dog brought onto the Site by the Customer or accompanying persons.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking, entering the Site, or using the Paddock, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Facility.
3. Bookings and Payment
3.1 All bookings must be made through our approved booking system.
3.2 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Bookings are personal to the Customer and may not be transferred, sold, assigned, or sub-let without our prior written consent.
3.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.
3.5 Prices may be amended at any time without prior notice, although changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking start time will receive a full refund or rescheduling option.
4.2 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking start time are non-refundable.
4.3 Failure to attend a booking will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
4.4 We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to severe weather, maintenance, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a refund or alternative booking will be offered.
5. Use of the Paddock
5.1 The Paddock is hired for private use during the booked time slot only.
5.2 Customers must not enter the Site before their allocated start time.
5.3 Customers must vacate the Paddock and parking area before the end of their allocated booking.
5.4 Dogs must remain under the control of a competent handler at all times.
5.5 Dogs must remain on lead until safely inside the enclosed Paddock and the gate has been securely closed.
5.6 Dogs must be placed back on lead before leaving the enclosed area.
5.7 Customers must ensure gates are securely closed after entering and leaving.
6. Dog Health Requirements
6.1 Only dogs in good health may use the Facility.
6.2 Dogs showing signs of illness, including but not limited to vomiting, diarrhoea, kennel cough, contagious skin conditions, or any infectious disease, must not attend.
6.3 If a dog develops symptoms of illness within 48 hours before the booking, the booking must not be used.
6.4 We recommend that all dogs are vaccinated and receive appropriate parasite treatment.
7. Dog Behaviour Requirements
7.1 The Customer confirms that they are aware of their dog's temperament and behaviour.
7.2 Aggressive, dangerous, or uncontrolled dogs must not be brought onto the Site unless specifically agreed in advance.
7.3 The Customer remains fully responsible for any injury, loss, damage, nuisance, or harm caused by their dog(s).
7.4 Any dog subject to legal restrictions must be handled in accordance with applicable law.
8. Maximum Numbers
Unless otherwise agreed in writing: Maximum dogs per booking: 6. Maximum persons per booking: 4. Maximum vehicles per booking: 1. Additional dogs, persons, or vehicles may incur additional charges or be refused entry.
9. Children
9.1 Children are welcome but must remain under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
9.2 Parents and guardians accept full responsibility for the safety and conduct of children attending the Site.
9.3 Children must not climb fences, gates, equipment, structures, or agility apparatus.
10. Waste and Cleanliness
10.1 All dog waste must be collected immediately.
10.2 Waste must be disposed of in designated bins only.
10.3 Customers must remove all litter, toys, food packaging, and personal belongings before leaving.
10.4 Failure to clean up after a dog may result in additional charges and/or suspension of future bookings.
11. Safety
11.1 The Site is a rural outdoor environment and may contain uneven ground, mud, standing water, holes, vegetation, wildlife, insects, fallen branches, and other natural hazards.
11.2 Customers use the Site entirely at their own risk.
11.3 Appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn at all times.
11.4 Customers must not interfere with fencing, gates, locks, equipment, signage, or safety measures.
12. Equipment and Facilities
12.1 Any agility equipment, enrichment equipment, water stations, shelters, seating, or other facilities are used entirely at the Customer's own risk.
12.2 Customers must inspect equipment before use and discontinue use if any defect is observed.
12.3 Customers are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their guests, or their dogs.
13. Liability
13.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, use of the Site is entirely at the Customer's own risk.
13.2 We shall not be liable for: injury to any person; injury, illness, death, loss, or escape of any dog; damage to vehicles; theft, loss, or damage to personal property; indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Facility.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Indemnity
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pad-Dogs, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from: the actions of the Customer; the actions of any accompanying person; the behaviour of any dog brought onto the Site.
15. Photography and Marketing
15.1 We may occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional purposes.
15.2 If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please notify us in writing before your visit.
16. Right to Refuse Access
We reserve the right to refuse entry, terminate a booking, or permanently ban any Customer without refund where: these Terms are breached; a dog presents a safety risk; abusive behaviour occurs; damage is caused to the Site; instructions from staff are ignored.
17. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or inability to provide the Facility arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, flooding, disease outbreaks, utility failures, or government restrictions.
18. Data Protection
Personal information supplied during booking will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
